We partnered with Envirovue to completely redesign the company’s waste management system. This included introducing colour-coded disposal points for cardboard, plastics, food, and mixed recycling. Baling cardboard in the warehouse, and adding food waste bins in each kitchen. A general waste skip was retained at both sites but reduced in size, with clear signage and internal bins helping staff separate waste correctly. To drive engagement, we introduced volunteer waste champions to support colleagues and encourage positive behaviours. The new system not only aligned with upcoming legislation but also reduced delivered measurable results - with just 0.5% of waste now going to landfull.
